“Jackson-Vanik and Ukraine One Year Later: An Assessment”

On Friday, NCSJ Executive Director Mark
Levin was a panelist on a webcast examining the state of Ukraine
on the one-year anniversary of its “graduation” from the
restrictions of the the Jackson-Vanik Amendment and the establishment of
permanent normal trade relations with the United States.
The webcast, hosted by the Coalition for a Secure and Democratic
Ukraine, was held in Washington, D.C. at the offices of the U.S.-Ukraine
Foundation. Foundation Vice President Vera Andrushkiw
moderated the panel, which also included former U.S. Ambassadors to
Ukraine (and CSDU co-chairs) Steven Pifer and William Green
Miller.
