Meeting of Solidarity with People of Israel

On Tuesday April, 9, on the Day of Holocaust Remembrance at 12 o'clock in noon in Kiev at the "Menorah" monument of Babiy Yar a procession and meeting of solidarity with the people of Israel will be held.

The action is organized under the initiative of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine and the Kiev City Jewish Community with the support of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine and Jewish Agency "Sokhnut Ukraine".

It is estimated that up to 10.000 people representing all Jewish organizations of Kiev and the Central Ukraine will participate. Jewish community' leaders of Ukraine will address in.

Ambassadors of Israel, USA, countries of Europe and leaders of Ukrainian parliamentary parties, Deputies of Ukrainian Parliament such as Victor Yuschenko, Petr Simonenko, Vladimir Litvin, Julia Timoshenko, Aleksandr Moroz, Viktor Medvedtchuk, Grigory Surkis, Eduard Gurvitz are expected to participate.
