Rescuers Honored in Former Shtetl
A monument was erected in a Ukrainian town honoring those who saved
Jews from the Holocaust.
The
monument was erected by natives of Mogilyov-Podolsky, a former Jewish
shtetl, who are now living in the United States and Europe.
The
town´s mayor joined Ukrainian Jewish leaders at last week´s
ceremony.
