Dr. Robert J. Meth, outgoing NCSJ Chairman, ceremonially "passes the gavel" to incoming Chairman Edward B. Robin, at the opening of the December 5, 2006 NCSJ Annual Board of Governors meeting in Washington, D.C.

Lesley Israel and Sen.-Elect Ben Cardin NCSJ Vice President Lesley Israel, (pictured here with Senator-Elect Ben Cardin) was elected President of NCSJ.  
David Kramer David J. Kramer, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova provided the U.S. government perspective on the latest developments in Russia and Ukraine.
Ben Cardin U.S. Representative and Senator-Elect Benjamin L. Cardin (D-MD) announced his appointment to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in the 110th Congress, and spoke about U.S.-Russia relations.




Dr. Meth received NCSJ's Agam Torah Award.  The award inscription reads, in part, "in recognition of distinguished service and leadership in the advocacy movement for Jews in the former Soviet Union."
